Presided over by Professor Xiu Guangli, Dean of the School of Resources and Environment, the first preparatory meeting of the 9th Asia Megacity Conference on Environment and Public Health was held recently in ECUST. Senior Professor Taishou Maeda of Osaka Prefecture University, Japan, Professor Kiyoung Lee of Seoul University, Korea, Professor Li Shun-cheng from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China, Researcher Duckshin Park from South Korea Railway Research Institute, and experts from Shentong MTR Corporation R & D Center and Ann & Environmental Testing Co., Ltd. conducted discussions on a number of topics and set up the meeting date and initial list of experts committee.
