Headed by Mr. Koetsu YAMAZAKI, President of Kanazawa University, a delegation of five from Japan visited ECUST on March 25th, 2019. ECUST President Qu Jingping met with the Japanese guests and they exchanged views on university development and further cooperation. After extending the warm welcome to the visit of Professor Koetsu YAMAZAKI, ECUST President Qu Jingping made a point that for 67 years East China University of Science and Technology has been giving priority to the quality of the education, and has been adhering to the principle of opening-up and developing special programs of ECUST. As an old friend of ECUST, Professor Koetsu YAMAZAKI hopes to take this opportunity to further promote the comprehensive cooperation between ECUST and Kanazawa University in the fields of supramolecular, biomedical and cancer diagnosis and treatment. Koetsu YAMAZAKI expressed his gratitude to ECUST for the warm reception and expressed his appreciation for the achievements that ECUST has made in recent years. He mentioned that the exchanges between the two universities have a long history and they share many similarities in the concept of school running, the integration of industry, study and research, and the industrialization of research achievements and he also pointed out that there is still broad space for further cooperation and exchanges.
