Prof. Dave Taylor, Vice President of Huddersfield University, Mr. Tony Wong, Head of International Partners, Mr. Chen Jia, Representative of China Office, and Ms. Li Xue, Director of Shanghai Office, visited ECUST on March 20th, 2019. ECUST CPC Secretary Du Huifang and Vice President Liu Changsheng met with the English guests.  

    After making a brief introduction to ECUST and the development in recent years in terms of historical inheritance, talent cultivation, scientific research achievements and international influence, Du Huifang hoped to deepen mutual trust with Huddersfield University, to explore the possibility of scientific research collaboration and joint student training and cultural exchanges.

    Dave Taylor said that he was honored to visit East China University of Science and Technology and expressed his appreciation for the achievements of ECUST. He expressed that the disciplines of University of Huddersfield and East China University of Science and Technology are similar, and he hoped that this visit will deepen the mutual understanding and promote long-term cooperation between the two universities in various fields.
