At the invitation of the National Research University-Moscow Power Academy, the Russian Academy of Sciences Biological Research Center and the St. Petersburg State Technical University, headed by Mr. Liu Changsheng, Vice President of ECUST, ECUST delegation paid visits to the above-mentioned universities and research centers from May 22nd to 25th 2019. The delegation included Prof. Li Chunzhong, Dean of School of Chemical Engineering, Prof.     Bo Bozhong from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Professor Xu Jianhe from the School of Bioengineering, Professor Hui Hu from the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, and Prof. Zhuang Qiwei, Associate Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology Development.
    The ECUST delegation visited the National Research University-Moscow Power Academy and met with Professor Alexander Tarasov, Foreign Affairs Vice President, Professor Victor K. Dragouov, Research Vice President, Dr. Sergey Shirinskii and Dr. Elena from International Affairs Office on May 22nd 2019. Dr. Gulicheva and other representatives. ECUST President Liu Changsheng extended invitation to the National Research University-Moscow Power Academy for a return visit to ECUST of the mechanical and electronic related teachers, and to explore the possibility of further cooperation, hoping that the cooperation between the professors will promote the specific cooperation between the two universities.
    Subsequently, the delegation visited the Institute of Metal Technology Laboratory, the Laboratory of High Pressure Engineering and Electronic Physics, and the Laboratory of Hydrodynamic Engineering and Renewable Energy (including the Fluid Mechanics Laboratory, the Laboratory of Renewable Energy Intelligent Systems) and  held talks with the  personnel of the laboratory.
    Headed by President Liu Changsheng, the ECUST delegation  visited Biotechnology Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences and had in-depth exchanges Academician Ivanov, a winner of the Shanghai International Science and Technology Cooperation Award on May 23rd, 2019.
    The ECUST delegation visited the St. Petersburg State Technical University on May 24th, 2019. It was the first time that the two universities had contact between each other. Professor Dmitry Arseniev, Vice President of St. Petersburg State Technical University and Director of International Office Olga Vasilieva expressed warm welcome to ECUST delegation.
    The above visits have laid good foundation for the cooperation and exchange between ECUST and the above-mentioned top universities and research centers in Russia.
