Headed by Mr. Liang Gongbi, an overseas Chinese businessman and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oriental Food Group Co., ltd. In Ecuador, South American, the delegation of the Oriental Food Group paid a visit to ECUST on October 16th, 2019. This is the first time in recent years that ECUST started cooperation with enterprises in South America.

    Mr. Xin Zhong, Vice President of ECUST, welcomed Liang Gongbi and the other members of the delegation. In their meeting, Mr. Xin Zhong expressed that in recent years, to respond positively to the national “One belt and One road” initiative, ECUST has cooperated with the universities and enterprises in countries along the “One belt and One road” route, integrating resources for a joint development. Located in the Amazon River Basin, Ecuador boasts of rich vegetation resources,  which can be of great complementary advantage with ECUST, as ECUST boasts of strong subject specialties in extraction of medicinal plants, processing of natural plants, food engineering, etc. ECUST gives strong support to all schools of ECUST to jointly tackle scientific and technological problems catering the needs of enterprise technology development and to expand the collaborative innovation development methods.
