For his outstanding contribution in the field of photocatalysis, Professor Zhang Jinlong of the School of Chemistry was elected as a Foreign Academician of the European Academy of Sciences, and the appointment ceremony was held at the Barcelona Knowledge Center of the European Academy of Sciences in Barcelona on October 23rd , 2019.  Professor Zhang Jinlong and all the other new academicians elected in 2018 and 2019 were invited to attend the ceremony. At the same time, the 31st Annual Conference of the European Academy of Sciences and the 8th European Youth Academy Conference were held at the same place from October 23 to 25th, 2019.
