From May 30 to 31st, 2020 Shanghai Universities International Young Scholars Forum is held online.The forum is hosted by Shanghai Education Talent Exchange Service Center and Shanghai University Talent Work Alliance, and jointly hosted by 14 Shanghai universities including East China University of Science and Technology, Fudan University and Shanghai Jiaotong University. ECUST hosted the “Green Engineering Special Session” which was attended by the CPC Party Secretary of ECUST Du Huifang, ECUST Vice President Qian Feng and other ECUST leaders and professors.

    The launching ceremony of the forum was held on the evening of May 30th, 2020. The main venue of the Forum was at Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Island and there set up a sub-venue of the Forum at East China University of Science and Technology.Ms. Du huifang, CPC Party Secretary of ECUST, Mr. Qian Feng, Vice President of ECUST, Mr. Yan Haifeng, Director of the Personnel Department of ECUST, Mr. Xiu Guangli, CPC Party Secretary of the School of Resources and Environmental engineering, Mr. Wang Hualin and Mr. Zhu Xuedong and Mr. Li Chunzhong, Dean and the CPC Party Secretary of the School of Chemical Engineering, Mr. Xiang Yanxun, the CPC Party Secretary and Dean of the School of Machinery and Power engineering attended the opening ceremony at the Sub-Venue at ECUST. Vice President Qian Feng, on behalf of ECUST, had an online exchange with the main venue of the Forum and with all the young scholars attending the Forum. Professor Bernard L. Feringa, the ECUST Visiting Professor of Internationally Renowned Masters and the Nobel Prize Laureate in chemistry, on behalf of well-known scholars, sent greetings to young scholars online.More than 200 first-class international experts and scholars and more than 1,000 young scholars from nearly 30 countries and regions participated in the video conference via the online platform.
