Recently, ECUST and Inner Mongolia Baofeng Coal-based New Materials Co., Ltd, signed the patent implementation license for opposed multi-nozzle coal-water slurry gasification technology (11 million tons/year of methanol project for 4× 1 million tons/year coal to olefin demonstration project), and has completed the compilation of the process software package. The gasifier used in the project is a super-large gasifier (4000 tons of coal per day for a single gasifier), with a diameter of 4.0m and a gasification pressure of 6.5MPa, which is to be built by ECUST and Yankuang Group (now Shandong Energy Group) under the National “13th Five Year Plan” Major R&D Project. 

  In order to summarize and exchange the operation experience of opposed multi-nozzle coal gasification plant and promote the re-innovation and popularization and application of this technology, the 7th International Symposium on Popularization and Application of Multi-nozzle Opposed Coal Gasification Technology sponsored by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and organized by ECUST and Shandong Energy Group will be held in Suzhou in December 2021, providing an important exchange platform for further promoting the internal circulation of domestic coal chemical industry development.
