Angew Publishes ECUST Research Progress of Sequence-responsive Near-infrared Fluorescent Dyes

Recently, the research team of Professor Guo Zhiqianfrom the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering and the Frontier Science Center of the Ministry of Education, ECUST has made a series of important progress in creating sequence-responsive near-infrared dyes. The research article titled “Harnessing Hypoxia‐Dependent Cyanine Photocages for In  Vivo Precision Drug Release” was published in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.

The above research work was completed by Zhang Yutao, a doctoral candidate, and Yan Chenxu, a postdoctoral fellow, under the guidance of Professor Guo Zhiqian, and also received guidance from Professor Zhu Weihong and Academician Tian He. The research was also technically supported by Professor Shi Ping, Professor Wang Zhongliang of Xidian University and Professor Tang Jianbin of Zhejiang University in biological testing. This research work is financially supported by the Frontier Science Center of the Ministry of Education of Materials Biology and Dynamic Chemistry, the Basic Science Center Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Major Special Project, and the Shanghai Scientific Research Innovation Plan.
