Recently, the team of Professor Zhang Jinlong and Professor Wang Lingzhi from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, ECUST has made important progress in the field of doping modification on porous materials and selective catalytic conversion of photocatalytic small molecules, and a series of related research articles are published online in ACS Catalysis, an authoritative journal in the field of catalysis.

Under the joint guidance of Professor Zhang Jinlong and Professor Wang Lingzhi, the research was completed by doctoral candidates Ma Jiayu and Wu Shiqun as the first authors the articles. This research is funded by the Frontier Science Center of the Ministry of Education of Materials Biology and Dynamic Chemistry, the Feringa Nobel Prize Scientists Joint Research Center of ECUST, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. The research has also received help from Professor Masaya Matsuoka of Osaka Prefecture University, Japan and Dr. Takashi Toyao of Hokkaido University in XAFS spectral analysis.
