Phys. Rev. Lett Publishes ECUST New Progress in Theoretical Research of Non-equilibrium Electrochemical Thermodynamics

Recently, the research team of Professor Liu Honglai from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, ECUST has made new progress in the theoretical modeling of ion thermodynamics and charge-discharge kinetics in porous electrodes. The research article was published in Physical Review Letters with the title of “Microscopic model for Cyclic Voltammetry of Porous Electrodes”.

The article is first authored by Lin Yiting, a doctoral candidate of ECUST and is corresponding authored by ECUST researcher Lian Cheng. The research work has received support and careful guidance from Professor Liu Honglai and Professor van Roij from Institute of Theoretical Physics, Utrecht University, Netherlands. The research has been financially supported by the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, Shanghai Research Center of Multilevel Structure Nanomaterials Engineering Technology, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Shanghai Qixing Project.
