Nature Communications Publishes ECUST Latest Research on Mechanism of Non-catalytic Oxidation of Soot

Recently, Professor Wang Fuchen and Professor Ding Lu from Institute of Clean Coal Technology, School of Resources and Environmental Engineering, and Professor Dai Sheng from School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Professor Yang Wenming from the National University of Singapore co-published an article entitled “Mechanism of the noncatalytic oxidation of soot using in situ transmission electron microscopy” in the internationally renowned journal Nature Communications.

The article is first authored by Gao Ming, a doctoral candidate supervised by Professor Wang Fuchen, and co-authored by Professor Ding Lu, Professor Dai Sheng and Professor Yang Wenming from East China University of Science and Technology, with East China University of Science and Technology as the first academic affiliation. The research work was financially supported by the General Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Outstanding Youth Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (overseas), the Study Abroad Fund Committee of China, the Shanghai Science and Technology Committee and the Shanghai Qixing Project. In addition, it is also funded by the Frontier Science Center of Materials Biology and Dynamic Chemistry of East China University of Science and Technology and the Ferringa Joint Research Center of Nobel Prize Scientists.
