Recently, a British delegation of Professor Anne Murphy, Vice President of Portsmouth University, Dr Jacqueline Priego, Vice President of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Professor Raymond Lee, Vice President of the School of Engineering, paid a visit to ECUST. Zhu Weihong, ECUST Vice President, met with the British guests, accompanied by Shen Yueping, secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Continuing Education, Lu Xiwen, Dean of School of Continuing Education, Li Xiaopeng, Dean of the School of International Education,and Lin Mei, Deputy Director of the Humanities and Social Sciences Department.

Both sides hope to launch a new joint training program for international students coming to ECUST through the International Joint Multi-degree Program (JMD). It is proposed that in the future, the two universities carry out further cooperation in the fields of scientific research projects, high-level exchange visits and short-term summer projects, deepening a good relationship between the two universities and laying a solid foundation for future cooperation in a wider field.

After the meeting, accompanied by the staff, Annie Murphy and the delegation, visited the university development history room of ECUST, informed of the development history and scientific research achievements of ECUST.
